Please join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Adult Guardianship Division. In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How to refer a case to the Cook County Public Guardian and the statutory requirements necessary for a case to be accepted.
  • The services that the Cook County Public Guardian can provide to a person adjudicated by the court as disabled where the Cook County Public Guardian has been appointed as guardian. 
  • A basic understanding of the types of guardianships, process of guardianship, and a guardian’s duties.

Meeting and Social Events Minimum guidelines

All attendees are required to wear a mask to enter venue. Attendees must be masked at all times while moving about the premises. 
The following Covid19 safety restrictions will be strictly adhered to:

  1. Attendees must wear face coverings over their nose and mouth, except while seated throughout duration of meeting or event (exceptions can be made for people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering)
  2. Before allowing entrance, your temperature will be taken using an infrared thermometer.
  3. Upon arrival at the registration table, give your name to be checked into the meeting. Once checked in, please take your seat.
  4. A link to the handout(s) will be emailed to you prior to the event. Hardcopies will not be available at the event.
