The presentation will provide a brief overview of the various ways to modify irrevocable trusts and when to use these various techniques.   The presentation will then focus on modifying irrevocable techniques through decanting, including what trust provisions may be modified through decanting, the process and procedures for decanting, tax risks associated with decanting, and practical pointers.
